Does SMPLR work for self-managed boards or for management companies?

Both. Self-managed boards run on our Community plan; management companies run the same product on a multi-association plan that adds portfolio dashboards, client billing, and white-label resident portals. The codebase is the same — the configuration is different.

What about migration? My HOA's records are everywhere.

We do the migration for you. You hand us your last twelve months of bank statements, your owner roster, and your last AGM minutes — and we hand you back a working account in under two weeks, no setup fees.

How does the AI minutes feature actually work?

You record the meeting from the SMPLR app on any phone. The transcript is processed on-device and on our private inference cluster — never sent to a third-party model. A board secretary reviews the draft, edits anything they want, and approves the final minutes in a single screen.

Can residents still mail a paper check?

Yes. Owners can pay by ACH, card, Apple Pay, or paper check sent to our lockbox — and every payment lands in the same ledger automatically. We never make residents log in to pay.

Does this replace QuickBooks?
